Between the Image & the Flame

Made with reference to traditional icons, a newspaper image of a starving mother and child from the Sudan is shown with haloes containing the cross of Christ. Written in Greek above their heads is a text from Matthew 25/40 which reads, 'Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me'.
